OUR STORY
The History of Blue Ribbon Scapes
Blue Ribbon Scapes was founded in 2020 by Andy Beavo, who set out to build a company around work he genuinely enjoys. He wanted a more hands-on career where he could combine problem-solving, design, and construction to create outdoor spaces people could enjoy every day.

Today, Andy works alongside his son, Ryan, a high-functioning autistic young man who shares his love of the outdoors and has a natural talent for building beautiful landscapes. Together, they’ve grown Blue Ribbon Scapes around thoughtful hardscape design, outdoor construction, craftsmanship, and personal service.

FOUNDER + OPERATOR
Andy Beavo
Andy has over a decade of experience in landscape design and construction. He previously held leadership roles at Boeing in finance, procurement, profitability and product development; he proudly worked on every production commercial airplane currently flying, as well as several developmental airplanes.
LANDSCAPER
Ryan Beavo
Ryan works hands-on with the Blue Ribbon Scapes team throughout the construction process. He brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a shared commitment to building durable, well-crafted outdoor spaces.
